This weekend, East San Jose is set to host the first annual Tully East Festival at Eastridge Mall, bringing together residents, local businesses, and visitors from across the Bay Area for a two-day celebration of community and creativity. Taking place on September 28-29, 2024, from 11 AM to 6 PM each day, this free event promises to be a vibrant and inclusive experience for all ages. With free on-site parking, the festival is dog-friendly and welcomes everyone to join in the fun.

The Tully East Festival is the result of a dynamic partnership between TREBA (Tully Road and Eastridge Business Association), Moveable Feast, and San Jose Made, showcasing the spirit of collaboration and community engagement. The event will feature over 150 makers, artists, food trucks, food stalls, specialty drink vendors, dessert makers, and community booths. Attendees can look forward to an exciting lineup of live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and a unique outdoor kitten lounge hosted by Mini Cat Town.

The kitten lounge is a standout attraction, offering festival-goers the chance to interact with 30 adorable, adoptable kittens in a cozy outdoor setting. This is a wonderful opportunity for animal lovers to find a new furry friend and learn more about the fantastic work being done by Mini Cat Town to support kitten rescue and adoption in the Bay Area.

For many of the vendors, this is their first time in East San Jose, making the Tully East Festival a unique opportunity to experience the diverse offerings of artisans, chefs, and creators from around the region. The festival aims to foster a sense of community by bringing people together to enjoy local talent, taste delicious food, and support small businesses.

Success for this event means more than just a great turnout—it sets the stage for similar festivals in the future, further enhancing the cultural and economic vitality of East San Jose. This is yet another example of the incredible commerce and vibrant outdoor activities taking place in our community, transforming the area into a hub of creativity and engagement.
